Updates

I was off from school but not work, last week. It was, however, very nice since I'm no longer working weekends. The job is a little stressful since I still need some training on a small portion of the paperwork. I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

I study as much as I can. I am determined to graduate with honors. Tomorrow I'm going to approach my instructors about work for extra credit.

101 Things Update:
I think I need to have a better way of documenting what I have accomplished on my list. #50--I did the second chapter in Photoshop Elements. It's still just the basics. I'll get to the meaty stuff in another chapter or two. #2--I'm still slowly working on my SWAP. I'm getting everything in order, even though I probably won't sew until I'm closer to #81 (losing weight) being completed. #19--I was half way finished with this one, when I failed to do a crossword puzzle one day. So I'm back to square one. #13--I have 4 pages added to my website. I'm becoming more familiar with HTML while doing this. I need to get my graphics on this pc and learn how to put them where I want them. I'll try to work on this next weekend. #11--I have a list of all the states and countries with their capitals printed up. I know a few of them, and have crossed them off the list. #33--I've made a bracelet with items from Fire Mountain Gems. They have lovely things.

Unfortunately my summer reading has suffered. I'm no where near where I want to be with that goal. I have several books started. I keep one in the truck to read when I'm stuck waiting. Another at work for when I get a short break. And one in the bedroom I read before I go to bed at night. Got to get going on this. I wish I could spend a couple of weeks at a summer house on the beach and do nothing but lie in a hammock, drink iced tea and read. Oh! and visit a great beach bar at night!

AND, I'm also starting to work my way through the book,
The Artist's Way. I'm going to start working through
The Triumph of Individual Style. It's on my summer reading list. Both books are rather small, but there is a lot of information in them. Both books require reading and doing the exercises to get anything out of them.

I still need to get 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey and The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. It may be a while before I get around to reading them, but I want to have them when I'm ready.

It seems as thought there is so much I want to accomplish. I feel like I've wasted a lot of time and now I have to make up for it.
